But yeah, I'd be curious to hear it. I'll check for it online at my shop and see if I can find it there. Unless you have it in MP3 and can just email it to me.

Checked, downloaded, and listening to it. It is the New Order band. Not bad, a bit dated sounding though. I haven't heard it all yet, but I will finish hearing it soon. I want to do a version with all guitars blazing, as the song does carry a natural energy that would be awesome with some extra punch. Either that or slow it down to a dark and smokey Jazz nightclub version.

to be honest i was never a fan of information society or new order so i don't know if there is any connection between the two besides the fact that i don't like either =)

as for the song, i think it is kinda week. i agree with ya about doing a version with all guitars blazing, get on it

in my 'other' band we do a 'guitars blazing' version of 'Dress You Up'. it's a crowd pleaser. well, i'm sure it would be if anyone came to see us hah. we do a lot of 80s tunes like that such as;
one way or another
mad world
bad reputation
kids in america
take on me
i want candy
wouldn't it be good
destroyer

along with some punk stuff like
mirror in the bathroom from fifi
i love living in the city from fear
i don't care about you from fear
so what from anti-nowhere league

and so on and so forth

I bet "Kids in America" sounds awesome with guitars blazin' Bill! It's a great tune anyway.

I wouldn't mind getting that "Express Yourself" by IS via e-mail.

BTW, Carl, Information Society had a hit in the early 90's (maybe very late 80's) with "Tell me What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy)" or something like that. Can't remember the title for sure, as I wasn't a huge fan myself.

Talking of reggae, Buffalo Soldier could be good speeded up. Singalong chorus, anyway.
